Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 10-10-2026
Welcome to Mango Gate. These Terms & Conditions apply to our website and the English learning services provided by Mango Gate ("Mango Gate," "we," "us" or "our").
Website: www.mangogate.com
Contact email: Hello@mangogate.com
By enrolling in a program, purchasing a service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are enrolling a child, you confirm that you are their parent or authorised guardian.
1. Our Services
Mango Gate provides English language assessments, group programs, private lessons, learning resources and community activities.
Your enrollment confirmation will specify the services included in your purchase, including the program duration, schedule, delivery format and fees. English Club access, recordings and private sessions are included only where expressly stated.
Our assessments help recommend an appropriate learning level. They are not recognised examination results or professional qualifications unless expressly stated.
2. Enrollment and Placement
Please provide accurate contact and enrollment information.
We may recommend a different level or group where an assessment or classroom performance indicates a better fit. Any change affecting your fees or schedule will be discussed with you before it is confirmed.
Enrollment is confirmed once the required payment is received and we issue confirmation. Places are subject to availability.
3. Fees and Payments
Fees, payment currency, applicable taxes and any additional charges will be disclosed before payment.
Where an installment plan is agreed, payments must be made on the stated dates. If a payment is overdue, we may pause access after notifying you and allowing a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.
Third-party payment and installment providers apply their own terms. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion charges.
We do not automatically renew your enrollment or charge for another program unless you have expressly agreed to recurring payments.
4. Attendance and Participation
Students are responsible for attending on time, participating respectfully and completing the recommended practice.
For online lessons, students must have a suitable device, a working microphone and a stable internet connection.
Missing a scheduled group lesson does not automatically entitle a student to a refund, replacement lesson or individual catch-up session. Any arrangements included in your program will be stated in your enrollment confirmation.
Private lesson cancellations and rescheduling are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Changes to Classes
We may change a teacher or make reasonable adjustments to lesson content while maintaining the agreed service.
If a class must be cancelled by Mango Gate, we will offer a replacement session.
If a program cannot proceed because of insufficient enrollment, we will offer an alternative start date or program. If you do not accept the alternative, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled program.
Material changes to your program will be communicated promptly.
6. Student Conduct
Students must treat teachers, staff and other learners respectfully.
Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, inappropriate content, unauthorised recording and sharing another person's personal information are prohibited.
We may restrict or suspend access where necessary to protect others. Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and provide an opportunity to respond. Any refund will be assessed fairly, taking account of services delivered and applicable law.
7. Learning Materials and Accounts
Mango Gate's materials, videos, lesson plans, branding and website content are owned by Mango Gate or used with permission.
You may use materials provided to you for your own learning. You may not sell, redistribute, publish or use them to deliver another training service without written permission.
Accounts and access links are personal and must not be shared.
8. Recordings and Community Groups
All sessions are recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. We will obtain consent where required.
Students must not record, screenshot or distribute sessions or other participants' contributions without permission.
Participation in optional messaging groups may make your name, phone number or profile visible to other members.
Use of a student's image, voice, testimonial or work for public promotion requires separate permission.
9. Learning Outcomes
Our programs are designed to develop English communication skills and confidence. Progress depends on starting level, attendance, participation and practice.
We do not guarantee a specific fluency level, examination score, employment outcome or result within a fixed period unless a specific written guarantee is included in your purchase.
10. Refunds and Cancellations
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in either policy limits any mandatory consumer rights.
11. Responsibility and Service Interruptions
We are responsible for delivering the agreed services with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by a student's equipment or internet connection. If an interruption on our side prevents delivery, we will arrange a suitable remedy.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricts your statutory rights.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms for future purchases and website use. The effective date appears above.
Changes will not retrospectively reduce the services or rights agreed for an existing purchase without your agreement, except where required by law.
14. Governing Law and Complaints
These Terms are governed by applicable UAE law. Any mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence remain unaffected.
Please send concerns to hello@mangogate.com so we can attempt to resolve them. This does not prevent you from contacting a competent consumer protection authority or bringing a claim before a competent court.
15. Corporate Training
Corporate training may be governed by a separate signed agreement or accepted proposal. Where its provisions differ, that agreement applies to the extent permitted by law.
